After last year’s success, we’re partnering with Sussex again for a community-wide Neighborhood Garage Sale on Saturday, June 1 from 9 til noon.
Each participating house will be marked with a balloon and identified on a map that will be passed out the day of the sale and promoted in advance on social media (Facebook, garage sale websites, etc.)

Anyone is welcome to have a sale, but to be included in the promoted event, you must be a current member of the Lomond or Sussex Association. You can join right now online!
200+ children, 4000+ eggs…one hoppin’ good time. Delighted kiddoes swarmed the playgrounds of Sussex Family Center on Saturday March 13, scooping up treat-filled eggs to their heart’s content. After the baskets were full, there were photo ops with The Bunny and a chance to explore the Fire Truck, Police Car and EMS ambulance. And then on to the Shaker Rec amazing table of crafts.
This event is put on 100% by volunteer parents who stuffed eggs, planned activities and showed up to serve up coffee, chocolate milk, OJ and laughter. Thank you! The Lomond Association is proud to contribute member dues and volunteer time toward this incredible event.
